Marti Fernandez – Business Partner/Owner
After, a number of years as an owner of an Advertising & Graphic Design firm, Marti joins a community of South Loop entrepreneurs who share a passion for enhancing and giving back to the neighborhood. In the short time that Marti has been in Chicagoland, she has lived true to her philosophy of community involvement as a member for the South Loop Association, River North Association, the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Step-Up Women’s Network and Cosmetologists Chicago. A graduate of the KRS Summit Salon Business College, Marti has taken the best in class principles taught at the college to help make her Salon and Spa one that it has been recognized as Best of Citysearch 2008 for Haute Haircut, Redeye Chicago, Time Out Chicago and Daily Candy Chicago. She takes pride in her team and works with them to offer unique amenities and exceptional guests services. |

Sally Fernandez – Business Partner/Owner
With twenty eight years of experience as an executive with a number of Fortune 500 companies and establishing a number of private companies held by the family, she has found the partnership in Aniko Salon & Spa to an enriching yet challenging experience. Working with the her daughter and the team, Sally adds the coaching expertise needed to build the company into a leader in the industry. Cheryl Fernandez - Manager of Customer Service & Support
Joining the Aniko Salon and Spa management team from Kansas City, MO, Cheryl brings years of customer service experience in the beauty and consumer products industries. Gabrielle Sirchio - Color Specialist / Stylist
With four years of experience Gabrielle is in high demand because she is no stranger to making her guests look like a fine piece of artwork. This new Redken Specialists exceeds the norm for growth and development because she constantly keeps up with the latest styles, coloring techniques and hair sculpting through practice and continuing education. Her specialty talents include So Cap hair extensions that will create fuller hair or an entirely new look for her guests. Alana Snowden - Color Specialist / Stylist
When you come into Aniko Salon and Spa don't let Alana's quietness fool you! As an International Educator for Avlon Industries, educating stylist from around the United States to Grenada. her background includes: wig styling for the Cleveland Playhouse Theater; hairstyling for Vince Carter's PSA commercial for the NBA;and, having coiffed Baby Phat CEO, Kimora Lee Simmons. Alana carrys over her recognized leading industry talents by making her clients look and feel like each and everyone is a VIP. Alana is a leader in the salon through coaching, mentoring and conducting workshops and seminars for Aniko stylists and industry stylists to help mold and grow them into leading industry talent. Alana's talents were recently recognized through articles printed in leading industry international publications for professional hairstylists including: Vibra, Hair Color & Design, Salon Plus and Black Sophisticates. As a Redken Color Specialist, Patrick offers his clients detailed consultations to assure that each and every guest has the tailored look they deserve. You can find Patrick in nearly any part of the salon and spa from the finest of nail technician services to providing his guest with flawless make-up applications that will have them walking out the door like a runway model. Stephanie Barnes - Cutting Specialist / Colorist
Growing up in the industry, Stephanie has recently joined the Aniko Salon & Spa team from New York City. Graduating from Carsten Union Square Aveda Cosmetology School in Manhattan, and training under Head Masters from Toni & Guy and Vidal Sassoon, Stephanie made her impressive clientele of celebrities and socialites while being in NYC. Clients consisting of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, numerous wives’s of NFL Giants and CEO's of such organizations as Ralph Lauren. Her in-house clients in New York included such well-known celebrities as Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Amanda Bynes, which were just a few of her special ladies. Steven R. Cook - Color Specialist / Stylist
Steven R. Cook began his hairdressing career in San Diego. His training came from some of the most prestigious, industry names; Robert Cromeans, Stephanie Kocielski, and Winn Claybaugh at Paul Mitchell the school. He brings 20 years of service and artistic expression into the salon business. He is prepared to listen and build relationships with his guests, all the while establishing beautiful looks. He believes that it is not only important to look your very best but to feel your very best as well. Steven¹s interests, whether classic design or creative trends, will always have you in mind first. Steven is available Wednesday through Sunday at Aniko Salon. |

Robin Stephens - Massage Therapist
Robin is a graduate of the American Institute of Massage Therapy in Pompano Beach Florida. She is a Chicago native who spent five years in sunny South Florida where she taught yoga, practiced massage, and owned an organic juice bar and cafe. Robin is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, Swe-Thai, Aromatherapy, Prenatal, Hot Stone, and Sports massage. Robin is at Aniko Spa five days a week. |

Tattenai is a graduate of The Soma Institute, the National School of Clinical Massage Therapy of Chicago, IL. Tattenai is trained in, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Sports Massage and has the ability to perform specific condition massage techniques including, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, PNF and facilitating stretching. Paula Ferrin – Massage Therapist
Paula is a Chicago native who became a massage therapist because of her passion and drive to want to create positive change in people’s lives. A graduate from the SOMA Institute – National Clinical School for Massage Therapy, Paula joined Aniko Salon & Spa in June 2008. Paula is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofacial Release, Injury & Sports Massage. Paula is available on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. In her time away from massage, Paula enjoys music, traveling and spending time with family and friends. |

Bianca Wright – Massage Therapist
Bianca has always been a firm believer in the pursuit of knowledge. To that end, on her path to massage, she received an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts at Malcolm X College, and a Bachelor of Arts in English, at Northern Illinois University. She is a graduate of Olympia College Massage Therapy Module program. Upon graduation, she received her National Certification for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork as well as her State of Illinois license. Training at Olympia College has prepared her to provide a variety of therapeutic modalities but her specialty is total relaxation through a combination of Myofascial Release and Swedish massage. She believes that by taking the time to listen actively with the eyes, ears, and hands, she will affect positive change in the body through the power of touch. |
